Thoughts of You

Alone in dreams, forth comes emerging past;
I grasp each moment imaged shades recite
Twilight of eve gives strength to shadows cast;
beneath moon's rise my thoughts hold you tonight

Fading sun hid till rise of morning’s dawn,
hears beckon to love from a grieving heart
Inside I sort the tatters of our spawn,
seeking for a world where we never part

Slumber looms near, lull shackled to a sigh,
tracing each link leads me closer to you
Given to hope are all the tears I cry;
wishes in whispers form the dreams I view

Played in the mist, sought images of mind,
embraced within my soul, your love I find
