Alone in dreams, eyes seeing forgings past,
holding to moments imaged shades recite
Twilight of eve gives strength to shadows cast;
beneath moon's rise my thoughts hold you tonight

Fading of sun, hid till horizon's dawn,
summons your love back to my grieving heart
Inside I touch remnants of crumbled spawn,
searching for a world where we never part

Slumber looms near, lull shackled to a sigh,
tracing each link leads me closer to you
Given to hope are all the tears I cry;
wishes in whispers form the dreams I view

Played in the mist, sought images of mind,
embraced with open arms, your love I find
