| Sullen
Sorrow
Weeping eyes dwell within,
shattered temples of sullen sorrow
Falling tears on earthen dust,
mold their visions of to-morrow
Crumbling clumps of drying clay,
form beneath the mournful shrines
Woeful children in sanctums hold,
sip cups filled with bitter wines
Tainted brews of
despairing fate,
stirred with unforgiving shame
Servers of blasphemy poured,
refusing to acknowledge blame
Riches abound kingdoms hoard,
benevolent hope still denied
Weary temples toppled fall,
upon the tears that they have cried
Sanctums born imaging
God,
pretense of blinding curses all
Shallow depths of uncaring souls,
hearing not sufferings call
Children crying beyond our sight,
hidden temples no one sees
Wasted pledge for self indulge,
besmirch the sanctums dying pleas
Nurtured love eternals
scorn,
pestilent death besieges rest
Boding pillows sordid dread,
mocks comfort from a mothers breast
Trembled wailings pierce the sky;
cradled in arms the child she bore
Temple sheds forgotten tears;
clay begins to crumble once more
Haughty fascists defiled
hands;
splendid temples are their own
Pity shattered sanctums hope,
step off your self indulgent thrown
Children cry from hungered keep,
abundant treasures should be shared
Sullen sorrows weeping tears,
let sanctums temples all be spared
