Haloed moon amidst the starlit sky,
ascends above dark shadowed lands
With forging night come chorused evening songs,
streaming through leafy timber stands

Chirps beneath daytime's shaded harbor rise;
in echoed unison chatters swell
Sauntered tempo with gist of haunting tune,
erupts from where nightly creatures dwell

On trickled waves mirrored heavens gleam;
bright cratered orb crosses water and the sky
Reflections touch crystalline fathoms shores;
from shimmered shallows lily's heirs reply

Harmony scored along the sloping banks,
lends voice to woodlands tremolo choir
Teamed orchestra plays steadily through the night,
till' morning bids the players retire

Across the lake shimmered curtains drawn;
nightly stage never closes for long
Haloed moon amidst the starlit sky,
slowly descends to an ending song
