Heavenly Flight
From heaven arrive angels to earth,
giving rise in mellow song.
Breezing winds announce their birth,
whisking the melodies along.
Flyer's swoop in merriment show,
soaring high on pretense of wings.
Laughter's voice and chanting grow,
minds and hearts in harmony sing.
Liquid glisten from soft-lit eyes,
becomes the dawn for each new day.
Tomorrow comes without disguise -
gathered round the children play.
Silver buckles and spangled flair --
mimics the gleam on every face.
Dressings trimmed with starry glare,
adorn the angel's denim and lace.
With outstretched arms the children run;
eminent glory depicted in flight.
Aloft on wings, yet bearing none,
small angels ascend in heavens light.
