A sprinkle of starlight, from high in heaven's lair
Mimics crystalline highlights, that shower your hair
The many shades gently caressed, by an angel's hand
Gives rise of lilac's fragrance, from each silken strand

Touched not by harshness, is her soft tended skin
Perfection of smoothness, undaunted by sun or wind
The outer beauty is seen, but is there more to be told
She nestles in comfort, like a child in cradles hold

A tinge of jade, speaks of her gentleness deep inside
The emeralds slowly fade, with the closing of her eyes
With turn of heads, the moon and stars will often weep
Silently they gaze, upon this gentle soul in peaceful sleep

Life in grander view, comes forth from simple things
Cast not with shallow eyes, life is more than it seems
The gate swings wide, for those that are seeking more
Entering the refuge, peer into your minds open door

If images seen, could be paused in a moment of time
Without the trickle of sand, you would always be mine
The seconds stopped, within the portals of hourly glass
Forever I would love you, until eternity's very last
