Autumn
Leaves
Leisurely
adrift in downward decent,
underneath a midday's autumn sky
Donned amber tinges casting to red,
fluttering wayfarers seemingly fly
Whisked lofty scatterings
aimlessly fall,
spiraled winds gusting spin them around
Clustered colors shedding off the trees,
gather bunched in layers blanketing ground
Hither swoop destines
each leafy flight,
sounds briskly rustle in swift swirling gales
Shattered crackling crumbles under foot,
shuffled swoosh heard along sauntering trails
Brittle crispy crinkling
leaves go crunch,
rifled swishing sweeps ripples through them all
Seasons' all lead one into the next,
winter springs to summer following fall
